Alama is a big handsome boy who arrived at AAGA in November of 2018 following an unremarkable racing career of just 13 races. He was almost immediately adopted but then returned to us a few months later because of severe separation anxiety. Figuring he was not happy living as an only dog, we arranged for his re-adoption into a home with 3 other Greyhounds. Not surprisingly, Alama’s separation anxiety disappeared completely, and he is now a happy, active member of that Greyhound pack.
