When Lexe first came to AAGA, we described her as a sweet girl who nuzzles and give kisses. Recently she came back to AAGA a year after being adopted, her owner stating that Lexe was not tolerant of her small kids. We find that Lexe is a bit of a diva who warns every new dog she meets of her presence. After that initial encounter,however, she is perfectly fine and accepting. She does enjoy meeting visitors. She will go up and affectionately greet them but then return to lying on her bed the rest of their stay. Since most people are looking for a dog that immediately interacts with them, this action keeps her from ending up on their “want” list. Lexe is obviously looking for someone special.
