One of the most laughable of Greyhound idiosyncrasies is that of “roaching”. Roaching is the Greyhound sleeping on his back with all 4 legs in the air, looking much like the dead insect of the same name. Because it places the dog in such a vulnerable position, it is an indication that he feels perfectly comfortable and safe in his environment.
