Decker can be identified by the perfect black diamond right on the top of his head.  Fueled by a powerful pedigree, he began his career by winning some major races that quickly earned him 5.0 performance points.  Then an injury ended that successful run.  At first it was hoped that, through proper treatment and intensive therapy, he could eventually be returned to the track. Ultimately, however, it was decided that, despite a great medical outcome,  that wouldn’t be in his best interests, and he was officially retired at the ripe old age of 2½. Decker is a handsome, happy, active boy — a typical “cow dog”.
