This Saturday, April 30th — from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM — the Atlanta Humane Society is hosting its second annual “Mega Adoption Event” at the Historic Fourth Ward Park in Atlanta.
Adopt A Greyhound Atlanta is one of the many animal welfare organizations that has been invited to participate. You don’t have to be interested in adopting. AAGA would just love to have you stop by to visit with us and show off your amazing ex-racer(s) to the public. Look for us in the Big Tent!
The Historic Fourth Ward Park is a wonderful place to spend some time outdoors. It is located on North Avenue next to the Masquerade Night Club and directly across the street from the Ponce City Market. The Beltline path runs along the park and provides a “greyt” walkway for you to wander along with your favorite hound(s). Check out these sites for maps, directions to the park, parking, and more details:
Note: If using GPS, please use the address to The Masquerade Night Club — 695 North Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. This will bring you to N Angier Ave. The GPS directions to the Historic Fourth Ward Park will take you to the back of the park where the event will NOT be.
We look forward to seeing you there and revisiting with our adopters and retired racers!
